For working Americans Network Marketing (also known as Multi-Level Marketing) offers an unparalleled opportunity to achieve true financial independence. Unlike any other industry, Network Marketing does not require any special skill set and contrary to popular opinion, sales skills are not required. In fact, it is actually best that this not be viewed as a sales job. Despite the fact that this not about "selling", a lot of people join a Network Marketing company only fail miserably. This is the single most important characteristic of the opportunity. The company that you choose to affiliate with must offer a product that you would purchase even in the absence of the income opportunity. More importantly, it must be a product that most you and most people currently use. As an example, the company that I work with is Solavei. This company provides low cost mobile phone service with unlimited voice, text and data. Moving the mobile services for myself and my wife from my former carrier to Solavei saved me $52 monthly. 2: Product Pricing
Before signing on to any Network Marketing opportunity you should know the market for similar products. It is not that price is a huge obstacle but it definitely can be. 3: Understandable Compensation
